Sign In with WindowsLive

Windows Live Microsoft OAuth social login Azure authentication provider
  • Create a new OAuth application (direct link) by:
    • Click on New Registration.
    • Enter a Name.
    • Select the supported account types.
    • Select the supported platform which is Web.
    • Select the Redirect URI.
  • Inside essentials dropdown, click on secret near the Client Credentials Field.
  • Click on new client secret.
  • Enter a Description.
  • Select the expiry date from the dropdown.
  • Click Generate a new client secret to generate an OAuth client secret.
  • Copy and paste the Client ID and Client Secret from WindowsLive to your Nhost OAuth settings for WindowsLive. Make sure the OAuth provider is enabled in Nhost.
  • Click the checkbox “I have pasted the redirect URI into WindowsLive”.
  • Click Confirm settings.

Once you’ve configured WindowsLive as an OAuth provider in Nhost, you can sign in users using the WindowsLive provider. See the OAuth Provider Sign-In Guide for detailed implementation instructions including the complete OAuth flow, error handling, and session management.
